This is Marco! I grew up in Egypt until I moved to the United States my junior year of high school. I lived in Richmond before moving to UVA. I am a Fourth-year student majoring Biology/Chemistry and minor in Health & wellbeing. This year, I will be the Language Assistant of Arabic Pod. Beside my interest medicine and public health, I have always been interested in the Arabic literature and language. I am excited to share my experiences about living in Arabic countries, learning a new language, and understanding the different cultures.
