Description: Learn about some unique culture in Korean colleges. Play popular social games from MT (Korean college retreats) to experience one of the major aspects of college life. The games include Dubu, Hongsam, Bunny-Bunny, Hunminjeongeum, etc.
September 12: 전통 놀이 Traditional Games
Description: Play Korean traditional games and prepare for the Semester Event (Yutnori, Gongi, Tuho, and Jegi-chagi)
September 16: 추석 기념 이벤트 Chuseok Celebration
Description: Make Korean traditional beverages (omija-cha, yuja-cha, yulmu-cha, misutgaru, etc.). Share Korean traditional games and beverages with the community to celebrate Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).
September 23: 청사초롱 만들기 Crafting Lantern

October 5: 한글날 기념 이벤트 - 켈리그라피 Hangul-nal Celebration - Calligraphy (Semester Event)
Description: Learn about Hangul-nal (national holiday for the creation of Korean letters - 10/9). Write Korean words, phrases, and names in traditional Korean calligraphy-style and decorate it. Learn famous quotes and expressions in Korean that can be written in calligraphy.
October 14: 콩글리쉬와 줄임말 Konglish & Abbreviations
Description: Learn about Korean abbreviations, newly evolved words, and Konglish (a blend of Korean and English) through interactive quiz games.
October 21: 띠 - 열두마리의 동물들 Ddi - The Twelve Zodiac Animals
Description: Ddi refers to animal symbols that describe the year of birth and the personality/fate of individuals born in that year, widely used by Koreans to address age. Learn about each person’s ddi and different ways of addressing age in Korea. Create a Hanji craft based on the ddi animals.
October 28: 한국 음악 (케이팝) K-pop
Description: Each person brings their favorite K-pop music beforehand. Listen to the K-pop music and read the lyrics together to figure out the meanings.
November 4: 전통 음악과 공연 Traditional K-Music/Theater
Description: Watch videos of Korean traditional music and theater: pansori, buchaechum, talchum, sajachum, pungmulnori, etc. Craft buchae(fan) used for buchaechum.
November 11: 한국 드라마 K-Drama
Description: Watch famous scenes from K-dramas and guess the meaning and social context behind them.
November 18 & December 2: 달력 만들기 Design Your Own Calendar
Description: Learn about different holidays and the themes of each month in Korean calendar. Create a 2025 calendar and decorate it with unique designs that represent each holiday.
